A shot from a little series “Recycled Disposables”.
One day I bought a disposable camera from a Goodwill in Bellevue. The film had expired in 2007, but I figured I’d give it a shot. I finally went and got the film developed today. Here’s one of the shots from that camera, taken in Port Townsend on a day trip a few weeks back.
Picked up another one at Value Village just the other day, so more soon!

The ride to/from Doe Bay reignited my [somewhat forgotten] love of ferries.
…Then I saw a few photos of the beautiful Norway-esque landscape of Lake Quinault over in the Olympic National Park. Guess what method of transportation you can take to get to the western side of the water? I must make this trip happen before the end of summer because there’s never a bad time to remind yourself of how incredibly beautiful the world really is.

I never want to go anywhere else for the 4th of July. Ever.
The Chehalis reservation was not only some of the most fun that I’ve ever had in my life, but an incredibly enriching experience. Their community is one everyone should hope to emulate. Everyone is family and no one is left behind.

Totally forgot about these pictures from last summer. Washington is so beautiful.

Nabbed before I realized I’d be driving home at 25 mph.

Nabbed before I realized I’d be driving home at 25 mph.

This is what I did for three years of my life.

We were state champs, it wasn’t really a big deal.

Bellingham.
Before leaving Bellingham today, I stopped at the Sehome Village Starbucks (as per usual), where I proceeded to get a surprisingly good soy cappuccino and talked the barista through his fear of driving in Seattle.
What a motivational note to leave the town on.
P.S. I haven’t been asked any questions in forever! Ask away!
