Frank Harlan, officiant of Laura and Dave’s wedding nearly two weeks ago. My faith in love was restored in a way I never thought it could be.
If you or someone you know is planning on getting married, definitely check out Frank’s website/drop him an e-mail.
A perfect spring day in Seattle.
Canon Blue (by kexplive)
A shot from Canon Blue’s instudio at KEXP last week. Sweetest people—so amazing to be in the same room as they played one of my favorite songs from the last year. (Indian Summer, look it up!)

Cugini Café || Ballard, WA.
Playing an endless loop of the best of the 30s, 40s, and 50s, walking into this café is an instant time warp. I could live in this place. Definitely worth a stop any time you are anywhere near Ballard. (Big plus: They serve Herkimer AND all shots are pulled ristretto. Heavenly.)
Pickwick performing at Sonic Boom last week!
Editing like crazy and prepping my first post for my photo blog entry. Nothing too big, just want to get it off to a good start. Hopefully that will be seeing some more action soon!
You can see more photos from my journeys this month when I post there.
Hello, Autumn.
It’s that time of year again.
The time where it’s okay to stay inside. The time where the rain relentlessly pounds against the windows to remind you of its presence. The time where life happens under blankets and soaked in enough alcohol to keep us warm and then some. The time where us Seattleites feel no pressure to be outside, conforming to the demands of the sun. The time where cinnamon and nutmeg flow effortlessly through the air, as though every tree naturally produces such fragrances.
We’re at the corner of optimism and depression, seeking warmth not only from our blankets, furnaces, and alcohol, but from our closest friends. We bake pies and casseroles, study the leaves, and hold hands walking down the street to let our creativity flow throughout one another. We wear socks and sweaters to sleep.
It’s finally time for us to be okay with staying in and sleeping an extra hour. We celebrate more holidays than summer can hold to keep our spirits up. This fall seems extra promising. I’m ready to take it in/on.

When Rosa Speaks - Pickwick.
I’m not sure if I can even put into words how proud I am of these guys. 300+ people waiting outside of their at-capacity (400) Bumbershoot show. Holy moly.
- T: "Well, he wants a Subaru...like everyone else in Portland."
- L: "I'm pretty sure the 'S' in 'Seattle' stands for Subaru."
