i used to make fun of old dudes (and young dudes) (and girls of all ages) who carry the token leica over their shoulder (and continue to make fun of them, only if their photos suck) (jk i love everyone)

but i gotta say, i picked up this little olympus stylus epic (get the epic… 2.8 lens vs. 3.5 i think)  and it’s so nice to have the ability to take photos you’d otherwise miss, or take with your stupid iphone. (jk i love my iphone but dont take the camera seriously).

so yeah, olympus, RAWK. way more to come…

The Olympus Stylus Epic is the only camera I always carry with me. 99% of the film snaps on my blog are taken with this little dude.  f/2.8, weatherproof. Got one on Ebay for $10 and another in like-new shape at a thrift store for $25. One even has a wireless remote timer.

They also come in zooms but don’t be fooled and get that crappy 5.6 glass. Stay with the fixed 35mm f/2.8.

FINALLY found myself one of these today in perfect condition at the Bellevue Goodwill. Only $7! Cannot wait to get started.
